create an email from my contacts

is there a way to have quicksilver pick the action to "send an email"
when i type the name of a contact from my address book ?
even better, since i use gmail and mailplane can it recognize these
contacts ? I assume not since these are on the internet ?
but if need be, i can sync my google contacts to the address book.

the ultimate would be for quicksilver to recognize the contact however
it must, i.e. address book if not gmail, but launch an email from
mailplane to this contact.

Yes it can send email via gmail though not with attachments. For
contacts it can only read from Apple Address Book or Entourage so it
sounds like you'd need to sync. To see details about setting QS up
