to Blacktree: Quicksilver
I think that the iTunes notification system for Quicksilver has a
problem displaying large embedded artwork in ID3v2.4 tags. (ID3v2.3
does not have this problem, interestingly.)
I'm running Mac OS X 10.6, Quicksilver B58, iTunes 9.2.1 and iTunes
plugin 355. With ID3v2.4 tags, large embedded images--I suspect the
limit may be around 2MB, but that's a kind of a guess based on what
mp3s I've seen having problems--don't show up in the Quicksilver track
notification; they're just represented by the iTunes "no track" logo.
They show up fine if I convert to ID3v2.3, though.
I think this may mostly be an artifact of the iTunes plugin being a
bit old; the standard has presumably, well, standardized more since
the plugin was made.
Thanks.
