Hi,
After upgrading Quicksilver to 2.0.0:(HEAD detached at v2.0.0) (4027) and Web Searches plugin to 2.9.1 the entire Web Searches catalogs are gone! Yes, I've deleted the plugin, reinstalled, rescanned the catalog, still nothing! All other pugs catalogs populate properly.
This is the main reason I use Quicksilver (YMMV) so it's useless to me now - anyone see the same issue?
Can someone help please?
Thanks.

That’s not what the version for QS should show. I’ve uploaded a new build to fix that.

I don’t use the built-in list with the Web Search plugin because there are too many things in there and I don’t like the way some of the titles are formatted. But I just enabled and rescanned those presets (individually) and the lists were populated.

Is your machine able to load the lists outside of QS? For example, try loading https://qs0.qsapp.com/plugin-data/web-search-list.php?type=simple

I also had this same issue. When I clicked the "Rescan source" arrow a pop up appeared asking me to install the command line tools. Once installed both full and simple lists populated correctly.

It seemed a bit odd as I've never needed them before to use the Web Search plugin?

Thanks for the info, Guy - I've had command line tools installed already at /usr/local/bin/qs - what path are yours installed in? I don't see an easy way to uninstall and reinstall to see if that makes a difference - any other tips?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your response. How do I get the new build? When I check for new updates it says I'm up to date.
I tried rescanning the presets individually and the lists were NOT populated.

And yes, my machine is able to load the lists outside of QA.

What next?

Thanks,
Dierk

Add to this that when I click ti check for updates I get the spinning beachball of death and I have to force-quit QS.
I have not had issues for years and two major ones within the span of days.
What now?

Please open an issue report at github.com/quicksilver/quicksilver/issues outlining your issue, and we’ll look into it.

When you click the icon to update the catalog entry, and get the spinning beachball of death, please perform a spindump and post it to the Github Issue you create.

In step 5, select ‘Quicksilver’ instead of ‘Zoom’.
