I basically had a problem where my QS splashscreen was coming, but the
application wasn't working, so I tried a few things and basically
ended up deleting the QS folder from application support.

Then I re-installed QS freshly and it works fine.

However, a NEW problem now is that I don't have access to all the plug-
ins that I saw before, and not sure why. even when I click "all plug-
ins" It just shows three --
bezel interface
hotkey triggers
primer interface.

Shouldn't it be showing the huge list that I once had before? am I
missing something ?

Try hitting the refresh button at the bottom of the window. (It's a circular arrow.)

Wow. I am so sorry for not having the foresight to do that on my own.

Hope you guys don't think too less of me !

I installed all the plugins. and now my QS showed the splashscreen and
just doesn't start.

I have the same problem. Hitting the refresh button doesn't help. Any
other ideas what might be the cause?

"Some people have reported that using the Little Snitch network monitor interferes with Quicksilver’s ability to download plug-ins. If your plug-in list is empty and you run Little Snitch, try disabling it."

Thanks for the quick answer, but unfortunately I can rule that out.
The list is not empty, it just shows the same hand full of plug-ins
mentioned in the first post above. Reinstalling Quicksilver didn't
help either (plug-ins couldn't be installed). I am within a uni
network, could that interfere with this?
