Trigger malfunction...

I have had F1 set as my iChat shortcut for years, however shortly
after the SL upgrade I have been getting an error noise every time I
hit the trigger (I don't think the conflict is related to SL). I tried
remapping the trigger, but iChat won't trigger even from a different
key - not only that, but the new key then becomes plagued and cannot
be mapped for another trigger without getting an error sound (I'm
running out of good keys).

I've spent hours going through the FAQ's and users manuals, but I
cannot find a solution.

I've tried removing all files from application support/quicksilver and
restarting the program - no help.

I've even uninstalled everything Quicksilver and reinstalled the
program... No help.

I checked my keyboard settings in my system prefs and have no
conflicts.

I use iKey, but have only two settings with that program, none of
which involve F1 or iChat.

Any ideas?
