Odd functionality after 10.5 upgrade

I recently upgraded to OS X 10.5. Since then, whenever I quit a
program that is assigned to a QS trigger, my clipboard and shelf
appear (which are also assigned to QS triggers). Any thoughts on why
this is happening? It never happened under OS X 10.4.
