Pre Event InterviewsMr. Aaron Littlewood (Official for BM 10's)
Hi Aaron, where are you from originally? New Zealand, still the land of the Bledisloe Cup How long have you been refereeing & where? About 10 years all up, half of that time in NZ and the rest in and around China What do you think of the refereeing standards in Asia? Not bad, considering the limited resources available to us. There's a lot of opportunity to improve but more and more chances to do so. It's a very exciting time to be a referee here. Your thoughts about the Event being played at Midnight A great way to escape the Singapore heat, and an even better way to beat insomnia. What impression do you have of Rugby in Singapore so far? It appears well organised and there's a lot of exciting talent coming through the young grades. I'm looking forward to getting involved. Thank you Aaron, we hope you enjoy the event!
Mr. Zaki (Team Manager for ASAS Rugby Club from Malaysia)
How did you find out about the event? I knew the event from our friends in NS Wanderers. Coming out from the JJ 7's 2 weeks ago where your team (ASAS) emerged as Plate Champions, what are your expectations in terms of performance for your team? We don't expect anything out of this tournament since we don't know who our opponents are (apart from the 3 clubs of Malaysia).I'm hoping we can gain some experience as this is our first trip outside of Malaysia. What do you think about the Event being played at Midnight It's cool
Thank you Zaki, we wish your team the best for the tournament! For more updates visit www.brfc.org.sg/blacks10s |
