Next Thursday happens to be Valentines day as well as the second Thursday of the month.

Let's postpone the next meetup until the following week (2/21).

Why don't we try to formalize the schedule a little bit. If you have anything you'd like to present, please respond and we'll add it to the list.

Is there a TechPad calendar or some calendar of "tech events"? Maybe a google calendar?

Are u folks familiar w/  StartupBlacksburg.com?

Charile Jewel has added a list of "tech events" to the home page.  Maybe they he could add this. FREE MARKETING.


Charlie - it seems like this sort of thing falls under the task of "inventory of assets".

Yea the front page of TechPad has an events calendar and I think they usually list this group there.

Was thinking we could do a hack night this time around since I actually have a project I want to work on :p

Adding it to those calendars sounds like a good idea, esp. a Gmail calendar.

Also, a few other events around that week:

- That same night there's a VTLUUG meeting for Linux Users that starts at like 8:30 or 9:00.  It's on campus in Durham 261.  I'm probably headed there afterwards, i think.

- The Lyric is showing the Startup Kids Documentary on the 19th and there will be a drink up at PK's afterwards.

- Also, I found another startup calendar.  Not sure if y'all have seen it or not.

BTW, if you put your events on an iCal compliant calender then somebody else can come along and 'read that' and create a composite calendar.
AFAIK, google calendar IS iCal compatible.
