First blacksburg.rb (Nov. 15)

Hello all, 

We had planned on the first blacksburg.rb meetup happening on November 8th.  Turns out that is the same night as a VT football game, so parking would probably be a hassle.

The first meetup will be Nov. 15th (7-9pm) at TechPad in Blacksburg.

Josh Eckstein is going to talk about a project that he has called Cloudburst.

I'm going to talk about my experiences learning Backbone.js and how it applies to Rails.  The project that I created in the process is available at: https://github.com/anolson/confab

If we have extra time, we can pair up and do some coding.

Also, about the name.  I quickly came up with blacksburg.rb but have been considering something a little bit broader (like blueridge.rb).  Thoughts?

As for the name, blacksburg.rb is fine with me. nrv.rb might be another option.

I like blueridge.rb, more regional to include folks living close but outside of blacksburg.
