They could use more help on Saturday then on Friday. They would like to keep student groups separated from community members.  Please only volunteer if you are comfortable doing so. Wear a mask and gloves. Wear clothes that can get dirty. You will encounter rotten potatoes. Guaranteed.

"The Glean Team is in need of volunteers for their 9th potato drop on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13-14th at the Montgomery County Christmas Store. The event will begin at 2 PM on Friday, and conclude Saturday around 1 PM. Volunteers will work in shifts of 2.5 hours. We are in greatest need for Saturday morning volunteers. If you can help, please complete the volunteer signup form. Volunteers are asked to sort through 2,000 lb. totes full of field run potatoes and fill 10 lbs bags. No heavy lifting required. Volunteers must wear masks and people will be stationed at safe distances apart inside and outside of the building. Masks will be available on demand. Volunteers may work in family clusters or student groups."
