Hi blacklight team,

Am Tony from Kenya and am trying to install  blacklight on debian 32bit using the quick start guide but I have a problem with step number five. Am getting the error below;

 'create  tmp/jetty_generator
    fetching  https://github.com/projectblacklight/blacklight-jetty/zipball/v3.5.0
       error  Could not download https://github.com/projectblacklight/blacklight-jetty/zipball/v3.5.0 : getaddrinfo: Name or service not known
      remove  tmp/jetty_generator'

I have tried using a downloaded zip file but still I not working. Please info me on how I can over come the problem.

Hi, Tony. 

Welcome! Are you able to download other projects from github? I'm wondering whether it's a github connection problem, maybe? Or maybe a problem with your local DNS settings? 

I have encountered that error when my local system couldn't resolve a domain name. See, e.g., this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1044302

Can you confirm that you can check out code from other github projects?
