Its a shame then that the main proponents of this crush all seemed to
be young black women. What makes me mad is that there are clearly
quite young girls in volved in this crush, someone could have been
seriously hurt. As a parent it incenses me that some people seem to
have lost all concept of community as well as common sense. Afterall,
its only Primark...is it worth losing a life over?

I was outside Tescos giving leaflets out the other dya, and it pleased
my soul to see a grand-dad proudly leading his very young
grandchildren around the store, and alone. This is not a common place
experience so I savoured the moment. It reminded my of happier days
when we all lived at grannies, and shared the same iron tub every week
inrt he middle of the living room. Not the front room I hasten to add.
You know how preciousthe front room was for west inidan families in
the UK. I think its time older family members looked up family members
they may have lost contact with, and just see whether the bridges can
be mended and re-affirmed. Our black children clearly need our help
and support and may be they will behave as if someone actually taught
them some manners, and perhaps less ready to kill each other.
