Get the most of YouTube with its official Android app! After showing you guys how to install Snapchat, I thought to share another fully working Android workaround for YouTube. Yes! You can sing-in, subscribe, download videos for offline viewing, like, comment, etc. now on you BlackBerry 10 smartphones. So let’s get started!

Firstly, we should thank Cobalt for his amazing efforts to bring Google dependencies over to BlackBerry. This wouldn’t be possible without his hardwork. Please follow the instructions properly before commenting.

Things you need to install:

  1. BlackBerry Google ID
  2. Google Account
  3. Google Services
  4. Patched YouTube apk (here)

How To Install

  1. Install all three Google apps provided and run BlackBerry Google ID app. Click on ‘Register this device’ on bottom. Click ‘existing’ button on the next page and enter your Gmail ID. If you do not have a Gmail account, create one and enter here. Once logged in, hit ‘Register this device’ again and follow instructions. Your device will now be registered. You do not have to run the other two Google apps.
  2. Install patched YouTube apk provided. Remember: YouTube account is linked with the same Google ID you entered in device registration setup.
Now you have the official YouTube app on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone.

Last time I followed cobalt's work around for play store i ended up having two step verification for my account. Took a bit of time to get it back to normal.

Anyways I am happy with the browser only, and whatever i wanna keep offline i got tube mate for that.

Still thanks for sharing, i hope it helps those who have missed youtube app. (Y)
