Text Editor for BB?

I cannot believe that there is no way to send a .txt file to the BB
and read it on the go. I am finding this device to be a barrel of
disappointment. The platform has so much potential. My company has a
BES server so we are pretty much locked in. I just can't believe the
garbage I am running into:
* AT&T won't let you install http://www.blackberry.com/aim
* For 8 years I have moved my address book around between multiple
computers, OSes, and Nokia phones. Now, nothing I can do will get
them onto my BB 8800. On my Mac they're in Lotus Notes and Address
Book but will not sync to the BB. PocketMac hangs on sync.
* Cannot receive vcards via BlueTooth
* eFile app freezes the BB requiring me to pull the battery
* Web Browser regularly freezes on JavaScript requiring me to pull the
battery

But anyway back to the point... is there not a simple text file
editor, or reader?
