Well guys, it seems 4.5 for the 8310 has been released officially!! This is a legit carrier in South Africa GSM World - Roaming This is not a beta OS to my knowledge. Its offerd as the latest official OS for the carrier, therefore not beta!. A little warning to you guys, this build IS NOT STABLE, the radio cuts out. Download at your own risk. Enjoy
Software For BlackBerry Curve 8310 (TM)
BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.18 (Multilanguage)
Package Version: 4.5.0.28
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.5.0.18
Software Platform: 2.5.0.44
File name: 8310M_PBr4.5.0_rel28_PL2.7.0.43_A4.5.0.18.ex e
File size:77.30MB

Instructions for installing on ANY carrier's 8310:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of Desktop Manager installed.
2. Download the above file to the PC then install it to the PC by running the file you downloaded.
3. Locate the vendor.xml file and delete it. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
4. Plug in BB and Open Desktop Manager. You should be prompted to upgrade.
The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it's done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization."
If you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to DM again and run application loader again and it should load the OS to the device.

De cuando es esa publicación? La extensión 0.18 se me hace familiar. Para ser más preciso es la misma del primer Beta que le instalé a mi BlackBerry.

Buenos dias!!! Comento que ayer siempre mi ubicacion fue la real hasta que ahora en la mañana entre y puse no con gps y me dio mi ubicacion real y de pronto ya no vi mas el punto azul di una busqueda en el menu en mi ubicacion y ya estaba en Carolina del Norte. Asi de facil pero lamentablemente yo sigo en Manta, Ecuador. Ahora sali y entrare mas tarde. S es lo unico que me molesta y no se a que se debe pero de alli lo demas es excelente. Alguien le ha pasado lo mismo que cuento en este mail? Si es asi pasarme su pin para charlar del tema y no incomodar el foro.
