4th Annual Wellmark Tour de Oahe, June 28

Based out of the Oahe Dam Downstream Group Lodge at the base of the dam about 5 miles upstream of Pierre, $25 gets you pre-ride catered dinner on Fri night, post-ride lunch on Saturday, all snacks & hydration drinks, SAG, mobile mechanic (Harlan's from Sioux Falls), first aid and more. Please pencil this ride on your calendar. 

The long route (68 miles) will go north up 1806 to the end of the pavement and back. Several real nice climbs. Our insurance provider has approved our advertising the climbs as Strava segments, some of which are currently led by a Cat 1 racer from Kansas who vacationed here last summer. Am hoping some more of the Black Hills Cycling Group will participate this year and maybe return the leader to a South Dakota rider.

We are limiting registered riders to 200 for the 3 routes, long, medium and short. We will also offer commemorative jerseys for a nominal cost. Registration opens March 3.
