I am writing to invite you to the UDC law school for a panel discussion we are having Tuesday March 18 regarding the right to representation in the context of the historic Gideon v. Wainwright decision. Specifically, how the concept of a right to counsel can be fortified to ensure that indigent defendants receive good representation that reflects a commitment to justice and fairness.
