Few of the keys on my laptop's keyboard aren't working. A couple of days ago, I left my laptop running and forgot to shut it down. As a result it automatically shutdown due to low battery. The next day I noticed few of them weren't working. How do I fix it?
The same has happened with my laptop Fujitsu Lifebook series..... I researched about this on the internet only in vain...
The following are the things i tried - which you can also try (might work for you)
1. Remove your laptop battery - Turn on your laptop with main power on and shutdown
2. Uninstall your keyboard driver and re-install the driver.
I assume you would have tried the famous re-start of PC option
I had the Same issue few months ago.(Hope it might help you )
1. Try any cleaner like c cleaner or other cleaner to remove Junk.
2. Reinstall the compatible Driver.
3. Remove Keyboard and clean the socket and try again.
4. Try your keyboard at a friend's same Laptop..
5. Last Option ...Give your laptop to Authorized service station for repair
You can scan for driver updates automatically and install them manually with the free version of the Fujitsu Mouse / Keyboard Driver Update Utility, or complete all necessary driver updates automatically using the premium version.

To find the latest driver, including Windows 11 drivers, choose from our list of most popular Fujitsu Mouse / Keyboard downloads or search our driver archive for the driver that fits your specific Fujitsu mouse / keyboard model and your PC's operating system.
After downloading your driver update, you will need to install it. Driver updates come in a variety of file formats with different file extensions. Do refer to details in keyboard matrix and HW supported overviewin ../supported_hw.rstCurrently 2 keyboards are supported. Fujitsu keyboard can beconnected in MECC card and be used in Tigerlake RVP, meanwhile Gtechkeyboard can be used with Intel ADL-P RVP
The keyboard scan matrix state and data are represented in this reference codeas an application module. The module depends on Keyboard System Controller Hostto receive configuration commands and to send keyboard events back to the host.
Similarly, it depends on the underlying Zephyr driver to perform scanning ofthe keyboard matrix module and provide keyboard events indicating row and columndata. The Zephyr RTOS driver tracks which keys in the matrix are still pressed andwhich ones are being released. This data is relayed to the kscan applicationmodule in the form of callbacks. Once the callbacks are received, the applicationmodule translates grid coordinates to scan codes and queues them in the samequeue used for sending PS/2 scan codes. See the image below for more details.
This section indicates specific step-by-step instructions to add a new keyboardto the EC application for custom board. It covers how to introduce specific keymap for a different keyboard vendor as well as how to define custom FN+FX keys.
The keyboard specific map shall be included in the project configuration. The configuration hierarchy is organized in a way that allows to choose betweenseveral keyboard brands using the interactive menu if desired.
This mapping is keyboard specific and it is required for every keyboard, the array is filled like an inverted matrix to simplify read 8 KSIs.The map must be exposed using the function pointer get_keynum.
This is also keyboard specific and it is required when need to assign afunction pointer get_fnkey to generate keyboard specific scan codes orSCI codes for the host. Refer to SMC module for details in SCI codes. All the FN keys generating scan codes are using the scan code set 2.
Finally need to add pressed and released scan codes, considering that for anunmapped SC_UNMAPPED could be used. There is no functionality impact if notdone, but this allows to differentiate explicitly unmapped FN key which allowsto identify configuration errors.
SCIs do not have break code, and all of them are single byte codes. In general, it is possible to generate any desired FN+ key combination, this is not limited to the top row or the arrow keys. You can implement custom behaviors in for the EC using FN functions as well.
Sticky Keys and Filter keys are two accessibility functions in the Windows operating system. Sticky Keys allows you to press one key at a time for keyboard shortcuts; Filter Keys tells the keyboard to ignore your brief or repeated keystrokes. If these two keyboard functions are enabled, sometimes your backspace key cannot work fine.
Or if you use the Pro version, click Update All to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out of date on your system.
