What are the advantages and disadvantages from overseas manufacturing versus domestic apparel production

This is a topic many startup companies struggle with.
Getting your product produce locally have many advantages (In the
USA). This is usually the best route to take for small scale
businesses. Especially for a startup fashion brand.
We can also discuss when is it best to get your product done overseas
and all of its benefits (outside the USA). Producing the fabrics from
scratch can assure a premium quality product. Testing labs, pre-wash
of goods etc. Prices are lower per piece when you order in bulk. If
you are already in business or looking to do big business this may be
the way to go.

Hello Brooklyn Fashion Week,
We have over 20 years of apparel manufacturing and apparel design expertise and can educate is these areas. We look forward to working together and to educate others in this field.
To start let me explain what we do:
We manufacture apparel and offer our design services as well. Our factories are overseas and in the USA. Each order can require different solutions which varies from the needs of each customer. We asset all challenges and produce apparel from approved designs. Our minimums start at 300pcs per style overseas and 150pcs minimum for domestic production.
