Why is net income calculated incorrectly in Bkper?

Hi all, today's my first day really using Bkper but I can't wrap my head around how the app calculate income and profit. 

In the app itself, revenue + expense becomes net income as seen below. Similarly, in the spreadsheet template, Net profit is calculated as the sum of Revenue and Expense?? I can manually adjust the spreadsheet but I can't do so for the app itself. 

I would be grateful for any clarification. Thank you!

Hi , 

Maybe you can compare your transactions with the ones on the bkper Template General Business Ledger. 

I have a feeling that, because of the negative revenue, that you might have reversed your transactions. 

Can that be the cause why you have a negative revenue?
