Position Title: Finance Assistant
Reports To: Finance Coordinator of HB Studio/Playwright Foundation
General Purpose:
Provide part-time support to the Finance Coordinator of the Herbert Berghof Studio. Manage and reconcile cash receipts on a daily basis.
Essential Functions:
Summarize daily cash receipts
Print cash receipts reports from FileMaker and reconcile with the Registration Staff deposits
Resolve discrepancies
Prepare and make daily bank deposits
Submit bank deposit slips and supporting documents to the Finance Coordinator
Clerical duties - filing, copying, shredding
Assist with preparation of reports
Assist with annual financial audit
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
Highly organized, , detail-oriented and excellent follow through. Good time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks.
Superior computer skills, including FileMaker, Microsoft Excel, and Mac OS X.
QuickBooks knowledge preferred but not necessary
Honesty and integrity
Scope of Responsibility & Positions Supervised:
Must work well with Finance Coordinator, Executive Director, Operations Manager and Registration Staff. Report to Finance Coordinator of both arms of the organization.
No supervisory responsibility involved.
Special Working Conditions:
Required to work morning shift between hours 9:30am and 12:30pm Monday thru Friday
