BKHS Class of 1982, 30 Year Class Reunion: August 4, 2012

Fellow Classmates...For once in my life, I am going to attempt to be brief. At this time, we are looking to hold our 30th Class reunion on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at One Ocean, formerly known as The Sea Turtle in Atlantic Beach. We feel that we will be better served in regards to overall turnout and logistical planning if we keep it to a one night event. If you have not seen One Ocean as of late, check it out on this web-link:  http://www.oneoceanresort.com/ To help in our negotiating leverage with One Ocean, we would very much like to know if you are planning to attend. To keep it simple, please respond back to the following questions: Do you plan to attend? If so, are you bringing a date, or coming solo? Will you plan to stay the night of the reunion at One Ocean? Your answers to those three questions will help us tremendously in our planning and negotiating. Once we know the number of prospective attendees, we can move forward with finalizing the contract and planning for a successful event. Tim, I will be attending the big event,  the 20th anniversary of my 10 year reunion. I plan on pitching a tent and occupying the lobby of the One Ocean. Hell, it works for 1000's of other bums it should work for me as well.  Anyone want to join me? If I play my card right the hotel will be providing us a 3 squares a day and a pickle bucket to take care of our "necessities". As for bringing a date.... not sure my wife wants to hang with a bunch "red necks" from the Georgia-Florida border. All kidding aside, I can not wait to see everyone. Count me in for the festivities. I will also be staying at the hotel. I plan on being in town for most of the week as it gives me a chance to visit some friends from UF that I have not seen for a while. Unfortunately my wife will not be able to join me. She has a mandatory teachers workshop that weekend that she cannot miss.

 

I too want to thank you and everyone involved in putting this together. I missed the 25th so it will be great to see everyone again.
