Fellow Classmates...Before I leave for Wally World and a week long National Sales Meeting chock full of powerpoint slide whipping, corporate compliance nonsense, and cheesy sales motivational speeches, I thought I would pass along the latest update regarding our 30th Class reunion. Since we sent out the "Save the Date" email about two weeks ago, we have received about 95 "verbal" commitments from classmates and their guests to attend the Reunion. We are very encouraged by the overall response and enthusiasm that we have received and feel that we are well on our way to an exciting and successful event.  If you plan to stay at One Ocean, I wanted to pass along the following hotel booking information so you could reserve your room as soon as possible. At this point, it is first come first serve, so to guarantee the rate as well as a room, I would recommend making your reservation sooner than later. Here is the 411 on booking a room: Room Rate $164.00 (Ask for Deluxe room w/$15.00 discount for BK event) Resort Fee $25.00 If parking a Car $15.00 Taxes $24.00 Approximate total per night $229.00 Room rates are subject to availability. As a reminder, the reunion will be Saturday night, August 4 and the One Ocean Website is: http://www.oneoceanresort.com/   Every room that we book now gives us more leverage in our overall position and negotiations with One Ocean...and that is not a cheesy sales speech. We will pass along more details in the near future and hope to have an invitation out sooner than later so that we can begin securing commitments and revenue. Because we still have over 70 classmates who have not accepted their Google Group Invitation, I am sending this out to both email lists as well as the Google Group, so pardon the redundancy.
