Greetings all: I have purchased the domain name BKforum.org and web
space for Vbulletin software download.

This will take time to set up and I am out of town at this time
helping my ailing brother.

Thank you Tobee for getting a site of community up.

It is apparent that LAZ has suffered some major problem. We and Mrs.
and I believe other Mods have no idea of who LAZ is, where, or what.
Since Tobee had semi official word that the Forum is down and out, I
assume it is now gone.

I wish to emulate within the means of all copy right law, the exact
replica of what we once had, and what has helped or even saved lives
of our previous BKforum. I will need much help in doing this and
invite all Moderators to help me and my wife, AngelinaCat, to
reconstruct the new forum. I also wish to establish the previous
Moderators in their same positions as before.

I would not be a Moderator myself as before, but in that I would have
to be the Administrator since this is at my expense, I shall not post
as such, but would abide by the previous rules as a contributor only.
The Moderators would be in charge as they were before. Do you agree
or disagree as to my intent? This is important to me as I have run
forums before and it is a real task to do it right.

In the event that the original would come back, I would default to the
original with a link to it. I have no intent in going into business
or competition with a good working idea. Only I do wish to carry it
forward if the original has left us.

This is a very nice place Tobee has set up to keep in touch. Please
tell all who you know, to contact here. If there are no objections,
due to Ms. Tobee's contributions, both on her many posts, all with
good info, and her talents and interest, I would make her the first
Moderator along with all those from LAZ's ex-site who wish to
participate.

Hub,

This is a wonderful gift the two of you are giving, not only to those
of us who already appreciate your efforts, but also for those to come
into the fold. Since I have no idea how one adminsters or hosts such
a site, I will not comment on how it should be run. I will leave that
to others. I look forward to a long association with BKforum.org.

Des, I thank you for those kind words. I am impatiently waiting for
the domain to become active. A temp page will be posted directing
conversation here until a working forum can go live. I estimate a
month. Too long I know, but I also know what it takes. I sincerely
hope that you will become one of us again as you have been and are a
valuable resource, unselfishly giving of your talents, advise, and

Guys my thanks to all your efforts - I truly would not know where I'd
be without you all.

Once my...turn is over I would like to contribute to the BK forum.org
for the long haul.

You guys are going way above the call of friendship, loyalty, what
have you. I can only say if you need help, let us know, some of us are
doing better and should be able to contribute something for this. I am
not talking tons of donations, but five bucks per person who may have
just a bit to share could go a long way in helping to defray the cost
of getting this going again, as I know it is not free. Those that are
not able to do so now, may be able to pay it forward in the future
when they may be doing better. I am not religious, but do believe that
people who give and help will be blessed, in whatever form one
believes in, and we do this by carrying forward and giving back that
which was received so freely from others. The world is a hurting
place, but this is a place of learning and healing, which needs to go
on so that others may find some peace within their own lives.

Angelinacat, go get a paypal account and put a button on here for
donations so those of us who are able to help can do so.

You guys are the best for stepping up to do this.

JB and all, I have been at the screen and in contact with VB, and am
waiting for it to get it's home before attempting to upload and unpack
everything. I may take you up on that and for sure I need suggestions
from everybody once we get the basic forums up like 7, 13,
collections, etc.

I never planned on this but it seems the right thing to do. I did not
know the forum for it to help me in BK, but it helped Mrs. and I
tremendously getting over the ordeal that lasted three years.

I don't feel as though it would be right to take donations and it is
kind to offer. The gift is not a gift if given for reward. If ads
payoff, that would be different. I would like it to sustain itself,
but not at the expense of contributors. The best gift to give the
forum, LAZ or the new one, is your input.

Thanks again all and I'll keep you posted daily. Once a home is
activated you will know it. It will take a while to make it a forum
though. There is a learning curve of course.

hub, you are most welcome and i thank you for your kind words. this
has been really a join effort with everyone pitching in and IamOld
leading me here to google to set up this temp site. it goes to show
with a little bit of help with your friends anything can get done!

i'm here for the long haul as many of the others, and of course i will
help in anyway i can with the new site...including physically,
emotionally and financially if need be. it has been such an important
life line for so many, and it's spirit must continue.

thanks to you and AC for getting the domain and working on getting the
site up. in the meantime if you need me...i'm just a word away.

although, as with everyone else, i'm not certain what happened, it
does appear to be quite serious and unexplainable...unless then i
along with the others look very forward to working and being assocated
with Bkforum.org :).

me too...and i very much agree it was $5 a quarter and that is
NOTHING...but it does help to off set the site and help to purchase
"improvments"...certain not a bucket of money...LOL!!!!! i paid via
paypal every quarter and it really was fine.

This is so sad to hear. I hope LAZ is okay.

This is the second forum I have been on for a long time to go under.
The first one was a very popular music forum, but they gave us about a
month of warnings about closing the forum down before it actually
happened.

But this was so sudden that it makes me feel really sad for LAZ.

I haven't seen or heard anything. And I get nowhere trying to google
forms of Laz, HHM, and HRx and bankruptcy. There are too many things
out there that have initials for names!

i tried as well :( i was hoping maybe someone knew something about
them. i'm still twittiing and have set up a bkforum lost and found on
facebook and nothing :( hopefully as soon as the word gets around
more, we will see them. i hope.

Greetings Folks.

So as it is weekend, I have been billed for the website, so progress,
but the domain has not been turned on yet. The Host provider owns IP
addressed. When you buy (rent) a domain the name in readable English,
is attached to a certain IP address. This is called DNS or Domain ,
Naming Service. All things are done by IP addresses that equate to
like "phone numbers". This takes some time and over the weekend
perhaps more. I am anxious, can you tell?

I will rely on JB's offer for help to put the site up on this
location, and ALL of your help for input. I will put up a front page
first letting you all know that the site is live. Keep checking.

In the event LAZ is resurrected I would default to his site, but will
also keep this site as an alternative mirror (watching copy right
laws) as a back up. At this point, I am doubting the possibility of
whatever this catastrophe has caused.

Just my effort to keep us informed on whatever is going on. I fear
for those who were looking for our guidance. One young man in
particular under our wing with his wife problem and all. I feel very
sadly to let so many down. (rhetorically speaking).
