Well found my way here thanks to AngelinaCat and Hub! Thankfully
someone had my email address that I had linked to the forum - think it
was lrprn? Anyway, when I first saw the forum went down I figured it
would only be a short while since there were a lot of issue as to
people trying to post, being logged off, etc. and I thought those
issues were being worked on. When almost a week went by I started
googling and saw the site was down via other reports and also saw that
AngelinaCat contacted vBulletin to try to figure out what went wrong.
I am assuming from the posting I saw on here by tobee as to the
cancellation on 10/2 of the donation amount given on a periodic basis
to the forum and that notification was several days in advance of the
forum going down so to me that indicates plans were in place for the
forum to go down. And for the largest BK forum on the internet to
disappear without anyone knowing what went down is really strange - so
I am assuming something bad happened and no one notified as to why the
forum was coming down. We can only guess as to what occurred and I am
assuming the site will not be back. I found a few things while
heavily delving into the site itself on the internet which I have
passed on to 'Hub as he appears to have a lot of computer expertise
and can maybe find something out.

Welcome, Flamingo. Your presence is greatly appreciated.
We have a couple of members who are panicking. I do not know how to
direct you from here, but we have a member trying to advise his
brother on a CH13, and Karm?? (I don't remember the rest of the name)
is having questions about a couple of judgments being included...
Of course, we have no way to see the prior posts that these members
made....

Flamingo, in response to this post, I have been so busy working for my
brother I have not had a minute. Mrs. C has done most of the work.
We have a site to be activated soon as the weekend is over. (Read my
other posts). This has me speculating very bad things as LAZ was into
many things. Don't get me wrong, I hope this is technical, but the
site is paid to 2013 and the host is healthy. Our very large site
(not in anyway near this type of chat room) is backed up all the
time. We have YEARS into the work upon it and it has to be backed up
as it is one of the best sites of it's kind in the U.S..
I don't intend to let this situation die, and as you know, all Mods
will be invited to continue managing whatever new site I am able to
build. If and when the dot COM becomes available I would purchase
that and divert to the dot ORG.
I will NOT be managing the new site. The Moderators will be as it
mostly was under LAZ. I would only be the techie, with JB's help if
he is willing. We are friends and I would be willing to meet with him
but I know he travels a lot.
We always needed more Mods, but we mostly need the Mods that we once
had first. The Mods that we get will make those determinations as I
will NOT be part of this administration but the tech part, as stated.
Of course I believe I invited you before, but for other Mods the deal
goes out.
I'm speaking too soon of course as we have NOTHING at this time, but
will soon. I'll need all the help I can and will have to put some
personal stuff aside for this very important commission.
We ALL have a responsibility to get this thing going again. I will
accept no contributions but may investigate the Google adds (I hate
them too) for support.

hub, sounds like a great plan.
once again your welcome and i'm just hoping more people get here. i
have asked a few people how they found us, and the answers have been
rather vague.
angelinacat, i was wondering on your post on the VBullentin board if
possible to post again with the forwarding address to members????? do
you think they would mind. as from what i have read from the posts, it
seems as thought your VBullentin board post has reached many? des had
found a spot on a law site, however, they took off the thread. i went
back in & left a forwarding address on that law site, asked them
please to leave it up so people could find us. it's still there, so i
guess that worked.
looking back now, i wished i had entitled this group Bkforum.com lost
and found! i think it may have been found easier. on google. also,
just to let everyone know the entire Bkforum.com is down on facebook
and twitter. i have NO CLUE what i'm doing on those sites other than a
continously posting of this TEMP site, i have absolutely no clue how
those sites even work.
once again you all know you have my support, so whatever i can do,
just let me know!
