Site Problems

I've tried to get in with google chrome and internet explorer and it
says It can't find the site. Anyone else having problems?

Hi BK forum friends, I saved this site the last time the BK site was down.  I have been trying to get in for at least 30 minutes with no luck.  Is site down again?

Looks like last time BKForum tweeted was 5 hours ago. I think it's
automatic. Bummer this happened again!

OK folks, I see this place is down.,.,,,,,again. Don't panic. I have
been a forum owner and these things happen. I purchased a site called
BKforum.org and the software. About $500 bucks worth.

LAZ and I had a heated PM discussion and the agreement is that I would
close my site unless his goes down for at least 7 days. If it did, I
would launch a backup site. This is not as easy and hitting
"Install". It does not work that way.

I shall open a greetings page on my site at http://www.bkforum.org for

I shall close it again upon return of BK forum. Our agreement is that
I/we don't get banned and Mrs. does not lose her Mod status. This
site truly is the best site for our problems. I don't have a lot of
time to devote to maintaining a site nor does LAZ seem to.

Please be patient as LAZ does have a life too.

Thank you Ms. Tobee43 for organizing this safe haven for us when all
else fails.

BTW, I told LAZ he needs to have an alternate Administrator to fix his
site. It is too important to leave down 13 days as last time. He
needs to collect all emails and notify members in any long term
problem. This of course would be blind copies so that email would not
be harvested by spammers.

We've done this in the past.. But it would have to be done with laz's
permission.

I Admin'd a site that was a popular one that went down every other
week.
So What I ended up doing was setting up another site. Then there was a
nightly cron job that would backup the database, fxp if to my server
where a cron job would place the forum database.. This way we had a
mirror forum that was no more then 24 hours old.That site stayed
closed, and password protected directory until my "Site checker" seen
it went down. Then it would open it up.

But once again this would also need Laz's permission and him to set up
1/2 of it.

Hope this goes to the right place. Second try: The domain name was
available and it is not copy right law that I cannot use that name.
LAZ and I already had a discussion about the copy right. My site is
not in any way similar to his site and at this time, as long as our
HOME forum is down my temporary site is a good meeting place and other
will find it to keep informed. I agreed with LAZ to only use this
site when his is down and I will put it to sleep when (or if) he comes
up. I purchased Vbulliton software as I and we totally thought LAZ

Sorry I should have clarified, The domain (.org) or setting up a new/
backup doesn't need laz's permission. You are right.
The Mirrored backup, Is what I was referring to. It's just a way of
having 2 copies of the same place as a failsafe.
