नई दिल्ली 21 जून : दिल्ली भाजपा के ओ.बी.सी. मोर्चा ने दिल्ली संगठन की सह प्रभारी डॉ. अल्का गुर्जर का राज्य सभा सांसद चुने जाने पर आज एन.डी.एम.सी. सभागार में आयोजित एक समारोह में अभिनंदन किया।
डॉ. अल्का गुर्जर के अभिनंदन समारोह में केन्द्रीय राज्य मंत्री एवं दिल्ली भाजपा अध्यक्ष श्री हर्ष मल्होत्रा मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में सम्मिलित हुए और पूर्व प्रदेश अध्यक्ष एवं सांसद श्री मनोज तिवारी भी विशेष अतिथि के रूप में सम्मलित हुए। ओ.बी.सी. मोर्चा अध्यक्ष श्री सुनील यादव ने अध्यक्षता की।
इस मौके पर विधायक श्री पवन शर्मा, ओबीसी मोर्चा महामंत्री श्री राम खिलाडी यादव, भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता श्री जय प्रकाश (जेपी) और महिला मोर्चा अध्यक्ष श्रीमती ऋचा पांडे मिश्रा सहित अन्य गणमान्य उपस्थित थे।
श्री हर्ष मल्होत्रा ने डॉ अलका गुर्जर को राज्यसभा सदस्य चुने जाने पर स्वागत किया और कहा कि डॉ. अलका गुर्जर का राज्यसभा में जाना उनके लंबे सामाजिक एवं राजनीतिक अनुभव, संगठन के प्रति समर्पण और जनसेवा की भावना का सम्मान है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार ने देश की महिलाओं को केवल सम्मान ही नहीं दिया बल्कि उन्हें नेतृत्व और निर्णय लेने की प्रक्रिया में महत्वपूर्ण भागीदारी भी सुनिश्चित की है। डॉ. अलका गुर्जर का राज्यसभा पहुंचना इसी बदलती हुई राजनीतिक सोच का उदाहरण है, जहां योग्य और समर्पित महिला नेतृत्व को आगे बढ़ने के अवसर मिल रहे हैं।
डॉक्टर अलका गुर्जर ने भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं का धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा कि दिल्ली की जनता की एक बार फिर जीत हुई है क्योंकि मेरा राज्यसभा जाना आप सबके आशीर्वाद से संभव हो पाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज आप सब की ताकत का नतीजा है कि हम एम.सी.डी. में भी है, सरकार में भी है और सातों सांसद भी भाजपा के हैं। दिल्ली की सह प्रभारी होने की ताकत है कि मुझे और श्री तरुण चुग जी को राज्यसभा सदस्य बनने का अवसर मिला है क्योंकि श्री तरुण चुग जी भी पहले दिल्ली के सह प्रभारी रहे हैं। आज आप सबने मेरा स्वागत किया है उसके लिए मैं आप सब की आभारी हूं।
सांसद श्री मनोज तिवारी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भाजपा ने महिलाओं को केवल मतदाता के रूप में नहीं बल्कि राष्ट्र निर्माण की सक्रिय भागीदार के रूप में देखा है। आज देश की बेटियां हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ रही हैं और महिला नेतृत्व को नई पहचान मिल रही है। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि डॉ. अलका गुर्जर राज्यसभा में जनहित के मुद्दों को मजबूती से उठाएंगी और राष्ट्र निर्माण में अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देंगी।
अपने स्वागत भाषण में श्री सुनील यादव ने कहा कि आज पूरे ओबीसी समाज को इस बात का फक्र है कि ओबीसी समाज से एक महिला को प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने राज्यसभा में भेजने का काम किया है। राजस्थान से शायद पहली बार किसी महिला को राज्यसभा में भेजने का काम मोदी जी ने किया है जो इस बात का प्रमाण है कि मोदी सरकार ने ओबीसी समाज के लिए लगातार काम किया है।

New Delhi, June 21: Delhi BJP OBC Morcha felicitated Delhi BJP Co-Incharge Dr. Alka Gurjar on being elected as a Rajya Sabha Member at a ceremony organised today at the NDMC Auditorium.
Union Minister of State and Delhi BJP President Shri Harsh Malhotra attended the felicitation ceremony of Dr. Alka Gurjar as the Chief Guest, while former Delhi BJP President and Member of Parliament Shri Manoj Tiwari was present as the Special Guest. OBC Morcha President Shri Sunil Yadav presided over the programme.
On this occasion, MLA Shri Pawan Sharma, OBC Morcha General Secretary Shri Ram Khiladi Yadav, senior BJP leader Shri Jai Prakash (JP), and Mahila Morcha President Smt. Richa Pandey Mishra and other dignitaries were present.
Welcoming Dr. Alka Gurjar on her election as a Rajya Sabha Member, Shri Harsh Malhotra said that Dr. Alka Gurjar’s entry into the Rajya Sabha is a recognition of her long social and political experience, dedication towards the organisation and commitment to public service. He said that the government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has not only given respect to women of the country but has also ensured their meaningful participation in leadership and decision-making processes. Dr. Alka Gurjar’s journey to the Rajya Sabha is an example of this changing political approach, where capable and dedicated women leaders are being provided opportunities to move forward.
Thanking BJP workers, Dr. Alka Gurjar said that the people of Delhi have once again emerged victorious because my journey to the Rajya Sabha has been possible with the blessings and support of all of you. She said that today’s achievement is the result of your strength, due to which we are present in the MCD, in the government, and all seven Members of Parliament from Delhi are also from BJP. She said that being the Co-Incharge of Delhi gave me and Shri Tarun Chugh Ji the opportunity to become Rajya Sabha Members, as Shri Tarun Chugh Ji was also earlier associated as Delhi Co-Incharge. She expressed gratitude to everyone for the warm welcome.
MP Shri Manoj Tiwari said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, BJP has viewed women not merely as voters but as active partners in nation-building. Today, daughters of India are moving ahead in every field and women leadership is receiving a new identity. He expressed confidence that Dr. Alka Gurjar will strongly raise issues related to public welfare in the Rajya Sabha and make an important contribution towards nation-building.
In his welcome address, Shri Sunil Yadav said that the entire OBC community feels proud that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has worked to send a woman from the OBC community to the Rajya Sabha. He said that perhaps for the first time, a woman from Rajasthan has been sent to the Rajya Sabha, which reflects the continuous efforts of the Modi government for the welfare and empowerment of the OBC community.
