नई दिल्ली, 17 जून : दिल्ली भाजपा के महामंत्री एवं उत्तर पूर्व दिल्ली के सांसद श्री योगेंद्र चंदोलिया ने आज एक प्रेसवार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि पिछले 12 सालों में मोदी सरकार ने देश के साथ साथ दिल्ली में अभूतपूर्व कार्य किए हैं और आज उसी का परिणाम है कि दिल्ली की तस्वीर पूरी तरह से बदल गई है।
प्रेसवार्ता में जिला अध्यस्क्ष श्री विनोद सहरावत और श्री रामचंद्र चावरिया के साथ प्रदेश प्रवक्ता श्री शुभेंदु शेखर अवस्थी उपस्थित थे।
श्री योगेंद्र चंदोलिया ने उत्तर पश्चिमी दिल्ली लोकसभा क्षेत्र में पिछले वर्षों में हुए अभूतपूर्व विकास कार्यों के बारे में बताते हुए कहा कि ने क्षेत्र में केंद्र सरकार के नेतृत्व में लगातार हो रहे इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर विकास, बेहतर यातायात व्यवस्था, स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के विस्तार और जनहित से जुड़ी योजनाओं के माध्यम से क्षेत्रवासियों को आधुनिक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने का कार्य तेज गति से किया जा रहा है।
सांसद श्री योगेंद्र चंदोलिया ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में केंद्र सरकार का संकल्प है कि दिल्ली सहित देश के हर क्षेत्र में विश्वस्तरीय सुविधाएं विकसित हों और आम नागरिकों को बेहतर जीवन सुविधाएं मिलें। उत्तर पश्चिमी दिल्ली में हो रहे बड़े प्रोजेक्ट इसी विकास यात्रा का प्रमाण हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि रिठाला से कुंडली तक प्रस्तावित मेट्रो लाइन क्षेत्र के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक परियोजना है। लगभग 26.5 किलोमीटर लंबी इस मेट्रो लाइन में 21 स्टेशन होंगे, जिसकी अनुमानित लागत लगभग 6830 करोड़ रुपये है। यह परियोजना लाखों यात्रियों को तेज, सुरक्षित और सुविधाजनक परिवहन उपलब्ध कराएगी तथा दिल्ली-एनसीआर की कनेक्टिविटी को और मजबूत करेगी।
श्री चंदोलिया ने कहा कि यु.ई.आर-2 (Urban Extension Road-2) के निर्माण से उत्तर पश्चिमी दिल्ली के विकास को नई दिशा मिली है। लगभग 12 हजार करोड़ रुपये की लागत से तैयार हो रहे इस महत्वपूर्ण मार्ग से दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट, मुंडका, रोहिणी, अलीपुर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों के बीच आवागमन आसान हुआ है। यह परियोजना ट्रैफिक दबाव कम करने और क्षेत्र के आर्थिक विकास को गति देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही है।
उन्होंने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य और आयुर्वेद के क्षेत्र में भी बड़ा कदम उठाया गया है। रोहिणी सेक्टर-28 में भारत सरकार के आयुष मंत्रालय द्वारा केंद्रीय आयुर्वेदिक रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट (CAR) का शिलान्यास 5 जनवरी 2025 को किया गया, जिसकी लागत लगभग 187 करोड़ रुपये है। इस संस्थान के साथ 100 बिस्तरों वाला आयुर्वेदिक शोध अस्पताल भी विकसित किया जाएगा, जिससे लोगों को आधुनिक आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा और शोध सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी।
श्री चंदोलिया ने कहा कि क्षेत्र में स्थानीय विकास कार्यों को भी प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है। रोहिणी सेक्टर-23, 24 और 25 में DDA द्वारा लगभग 48 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से फुटपाथ और अन्य विकास कार्य शुरू किए गए हैं, जिससे नागरिक सुविधाओं में सुधार होगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि खेल और युवाओं के विकास को ध्यान में रखते हुए रोहिणी सेक्टर-33 में DDA द्वारा लगभग 109 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से अटल खेल परिसर का निर्माण किया जा रहा है, जिसका उद्घाटन शीघ्र किया जाएगा। यह परिसर युवाओं और खिलाड़ियों के लिए नई संभावनाओं के द्वार खोलेगा।
श्री योगेंद्र चंदोलिया ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को और मजबूत करने के लिए किराड़ी में दिल्ली सरकार के अस्पताल का प्रस्ताव भी आगे बढ़ाया जा रहा है, जिसका शिलान्यास किया जाएगा। इससे क्षेत्र के लोगों को बेहतर चिकित्सा सुविधाएं उनके आसपास ही उपलब्ध हो सकेंगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भी लगातार काम हो रहा है। रोहिणी सेक्टर-22 में केंद्रीय विद्यालय के नए भवन का शिलान्यास किया जाएगा, जिससे क्षेत्र के विद्यार्थियों को बेहतर शैक्षणिक वातावरण और आधुनिक सुविधाएं मिलेंगी।
सांसद श्री योगेंद्र चंदोलिया ने कहा, “उत्तर पश्चिमी दिल्ली अब तेजी से विकसित हो रहे क्षेत्रों में शामिल हो रहा है। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के नेतृत्व में केंद्र सरकार की योजनाओं और विकास कार्यों से क्षेत्र में कनेक्टिविटी, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा और जनसुविधाओं का विस्तार हो रहा है। हमारा प्रयास है कि उत्तर पश्चिमी दिल्ली को एक आधुनिक, सुविधाजनक और विकसित क्षेत्र के रूप में स्थापित किया जाए।”
उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले समय में भी क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए नए प्रोजेक्ट और जनहित के कार्यों को प्राथमिकता के साथ आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जब तक दिल्ली में केजरीवाल की सरकार थी तब तक दिल्ली में आयुष्मान कार्ड नहीं बन पाए और ना ही राशन कार्ड बने लेकिन रेखा गुप्ता जी की सरकार के आते ही राशन कार्ड बनने के साथ ही आयुष्मान कार्ड के तहत दिल्लीवालों को 10 लाख रुपए तक का मेडिकल लाभ मिल रहा है।

New Delhi, June 17: Delhi BJP General Secretary and North East Delhi MP Shri Yogendra Chandolia addressed a press conference today and said that in the last 12 years, the Modi Government has carried out unprecedented development works across the country as well as in Delhi, and the result is a complete transformation in the city’s landscape.
District Presidents Shri Vinod Sehrawat and Shri Ramchandra Chawaria, along with State Spokesperson Shri Shubhendu Shekhar Awasthi, were present at the press conference.
Highlighting the major development initiatives undertaken in the North West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, Shri Yogendra Chandolia said that under the leadership of the Central Government, continuous infrastructure development, improved transportation facilities, expansion of healthcare services and public welfare schemes are ensuring modern facilities for the residents of the region.
Shri Chandolia said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government is committed to developing world-class facilities in every part of the country, including Delhi, and ensuring better quality of life for citizens. The major projects underway in North West Delhi are a testament to this development journey.
He said that the proposed Metro line from Rithala to Kundli is a historic project for the region. The 26.5 km long Metro corridor will have 21 stations and an estimated cost of around ₹6,830 crore. This project will provide fast, safe and convenient transportation to lakhs of commuters and further strengthen Delhi-NCR connectivity.
Shri Chandolia said that the construction of UER-2 (Urban Extension Road-2) has given a new direction to the development of North West Delhi. Built at an estimated cost of around ₹12,000 crore, this important road has improved connectivity between Delhi Airport, Mundka, Rohini, Alipur and surrounding areas. The project will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion and accelerating economic growth in the region.
He said that a major step has also been taken in the field of healthcare and Ayurveda. The foundation stone of the Central Ayurvedic Research Institute (CAR), under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, was laid in Rohini Sector-28 on January 5, 2025, at an estimated cost of around ₹187 crore. A 100-bed Ayurvedic research hospital will also be developed along with this institute, providing modern Ayurvedic treatment and research facilities to people.
Shri Chandolia said that local development works are also being given priority. Footpath and other development works have been started by DDA in Rohini Sectors 23, 24 and 25 at a cost of around ₹48 crore, which will improve civic amenities for residents.
He said that keeping sports and youth development in mind, DDA is constructing the Atal Sports Complex in Rohini Sector-33 at an estimated cost of around ₹109 crore, which will be inaugurated soon. This facility will open new opportunities for young people and sportspersons.
Shri Chandolia said that to further strengthen healthcare services, the proposal for a Delhi Government hospital in Kirari is also being taken forward and its foundation stone will be laid soon. This will provide better medical facilities to the people of the area closer to their homes.
He said that continuous efforts are also being made in the education sector. The foundation stone of a new Kendriya Vidyalaya building in Rohini Sector-22 will be laid, providing students with a better learning environment and modern facilities.
MP Shri Yogendra Chandolia said, “North West Delhi is now emerging as one of the fastest developing regions. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, government schemes and development projects are expanding connectivity, healthcare, education and public facilities in the area. Our aim is to establish North West Delhi as a modern, convenient and developed region.”
He said that in the coming times, new projects and public welfare initiatives will continue to be taken forward on priority for the development of the region.
He further said that during the tenure of the Kejriwal Government, Ayushman cards and ration cards could not be implemented in Delhi, but after the formation of Rekha Gupta ji’s Government, ration cards are being issued and Delhi residents are now getting medical benefits of up to ₹10 lakh under the Ayushman scheme.
