नई दिल्ली 14 जून : दिल्ली भाजपा अध्यक्ष श्री हर्ष मल्होत्रा ने दिल्ली में बढ़ती आग की घटनाओं पर चिंता प्रकट करते हुए दिल्लीवालों से सतर्कता बरतने का आवहण किया है।

आज तड़के कालका जी में एक बिल्डिंग में आग लगने से बगल की बिल्डिंग को भी नुकसान हुआ पर फायर ब्रिगेड समय पर पहुंचने और दिल्ली नगर निगम सेन्ट्रल जोन की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती योगिता सिंह के द्वारा राहत कार्य संगठित करने से बड़ा हादसा टल गया।

श्री हर्ष मल्होत्रा ने कहा है कि आज कालका जी में  तेज़ आग एवं फटते गैस सिलेंडरों के बीच दूसरी मंजिल पर फंसी 75 वर्ष की वृद्धा को सुरक्षित निकालने वाले फायर ब्रिगेड कार्मियों का मै सभी दिल्ली वालों की ओर से अभिनंदन करता हूं।

दिल्ली भाजपा अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि हम आग जैसे गम्भीर मुद्दे पर राजनीतिक बात नहीं करना चाहते पर यह खेदपूर्ण है कि अभी पांच दिन पूर्व मैक्स अस्पताल के बाहर हौज रानी दुर्घटना पर घड़ियाली आंसू बहाने वाली कालका जी की विधायक सुश्री आतिशी मार्लेना अपने चुनाव क्षेत्र के दुर्घटना स्थल पर घंटों बाद भी नहीं पहुंची।

दिल्ली भाजपा अध्यक्ष ने कहा है कि दिल्ली में बढ़ती गर्मी एवं सर्दी के बीच बिजली के उपकरणों जैसे कूलर, ए.सी.,  माइक्रोवेव आदि का लोड़ बढ़ रहा है और उन सबका लोड़ पुरानी बिजली तारों पर पड़ता है जो खतरे की घंटी है।

उन्होने कहा है कि दिल्ली वाले आग के प्रति सतर्कता बरतें, अपने घरों, दफतरों, दुकानों एवं रेस्टोरेंट आदि की वायरिंग चैक करवायें, ए.सी. यूनिट्स एवं कार बैट्री चार्ज पऊंटिस की नियमित सर्विस करवायें और अनावश्यक बिजली पऊंटिस सोते या घर से बाहर जाते वक्त बंद करें।

Delhi residents should remain alert against fire hazards, get electrical wiring checked, ensure regular servicing of AC units and car battery charging points, and switch off unnecessary electrical points while sleeping or leaving home — Delhi BJP President

New Delhi, June 14 : Delhi BJP President Shri Harsh Malhotra expressed concern over the increasing incidents of fire in Delhi and appealed to citizens to remain vigilant.

Shri Harsh Malhotra said, “I extend my appreciation on behalf of all Delhi residents to the Fire Brigade personnel who safely rescued a 75-year-old woman trapped on the second floor amid a massive fire and exploding gas cylinders in Kalkaji today.”

He said that early this morning, a fire broke out in a building in Kalkaji, which also caused damage to the adjacent building. However, the timely arrival of the Fire Brigade and the relief efforts coordinated by MCD Central Zone Chairperson Mrs. Yogita Singh helped avert a major tragedy.

Shri Harsh Malhotra reiterated his appreciation for the Fire Brigade personnel who risked their lives to rescue the elderly woman trapped on the second floor during the fire.

The Delhi BJP President said, “We do not want to politicize a serious issue like fire incident, but it is unfortunate that the Kalkaji MLA Ms. Atishi Marlena, who shed crocodile tears over the Hauz Rani accident outside Max Hospital just five days ago, did not reach the accident site in her own constituency even after several hours.”

He said that due to rising temperatures during both summer and winter conditions, the load on electrical appliances such as coolers, ACs, microwaves, etc. increases, putting additional pressure on old electrical wiring, which can become a serious safety hazard.

He appealed to Delhi residents to remain cautious about fire safety, get the wiring of their homes, offices, shops, restaurants, etc. inspected, ensure regular servicing of AC units and car battery charging points, and switch off unnecessary electrical points while sleeping or when leaving their homes.
