Something that we can all agree on, is that one of the hardest parts of running a camp is dealing with the social dynamics of the campers.
We came up with an idea to help camps educate their campers about ahavas yisroel in a way that will reach the campers.
In memory of our friends father, Reb Mordechai Goldin, we created teal wrist bands that say
" spread the warmth- one person at a time." because we felt it represented the kindness and warmth that Reb Goldin had towards every person.
Mordechai Goldin was a man that always put the other before himself; He always made sure that anyone he encountered felt special. He would put in effort to connect with anyone he came across with, he was very genuine and people felt it.
The bracelets can be used as an incentive, or counselors can have a serious discussion with their bunks, and discuss what ahavas yisroel really means, using Reb Mordechai Goldin as an example.
Spread the word, spread the warmth, please forward
