From February 20 - April 20th Greening the Beige (GtB) will be accepting a wide array of creative submissions that celebrate environmental sustainability in the following categories: Photography,Fine Art & Functional Design, Eco-Writing.
What are the prizes?
500 RMB cash will be awarded to each winner in the categories of Eco
Art, Eco Photography, and Eco Writing, with additional prizes awarded by
participating sponsors of varying value.
Additional “People’s Choice” votes will help determine final selected recipients.
Who can submit work?
Chinese citizens of any age or background.
How do I get started?
Create a piece that makes a statement reflecting your feelings about the
environment: for example, if you’re creating art, use sustainable,
recycled, or reused materials via your favorite medium to create your
piece; if you’re designing a poster, cartoon, or submitting a blog
entry, make sure your message is eco-friendly, positive, and
solution-oriented..
When can I submit work and when will I be notified?
As of February 20, 2013 entries may be submitted. Make sure to read ALL
of the criteria for submission, rules & guidelines before submitting
your work.
Entries are due by April 20, 2013
The first round of finalists will be announced by June 5, 2013
Public voting will be held from June 5 – July 30, 2013
Prizewinners will be announced by August 31, 2013
