Nihao, Beijing Green Drinkers!

 

As you may have just learned this past Tuesday, Greening the Beige (GtB), a Beijing-based grassroots network dedicated to raising environmental awareness through hosting art and community events, would like to invite you to transform trash into art during the afternoon of May 26th!

 

GtB & Thirst will host an information/workstation at the 2012 INTRO Beijing Electronic Music Festival. There are three major goals from this activity:

 

1) to help festival attendees learn how to classify and sort their waste by setting up a demonstration in our booth,

2) to educate festival attendees on water management issues,

3) to create beautiful art from ugly trash. 

  

Are you interested in getting involved?

 

If so, please email me before May 15. We are looking for volunteers from all backgrounds to help out. Volunteers should be available May 26 from 12-6pm, provide their own reliable transportation, food and water. They should be friendly, energetic, and ready to rock. Free VIP staff passes will be awarded to all volunteers involved.
