Steve Howard, Chief Sustainability Officer for the IKEA Group, would like to
invite you to a webinar to introduce IKEA's new sustainability strategy People
& Planet Positive (PDF) and to discuss the company's ambitious goals and
actions planned to 2020.
In Asia, there is the potential to direct growth and development towards a
sustainable path and to help raise the bar for entire industries. To do so,
companies must set clear strategies and ambitious goals.
Steve will share more details and answer your questions related to the
strategy and how it is being implemented, with a specific focus on:
- Inspiring and enabling millions of customers to live a more
sustainable life at home by creating affordable products that save
energy and water and reduce waste
- Becoming energy and resource independent, cutting costs and
protecting resources by making more from less, turning waste into resources and
switching to renewable energy
- Taking a lead in creating a better life for people and
communities, improving life for IKEA co-workers and those working for
suppliers, as well as communities around the world
