Hey all,

Thank you for the add. It's appreciated! So, I'm wondering if there's any plans to meet up in July. I'd really like to hangout and discuss ideas. In particular, I'd like to discuss strategy games and the mechanics they use. Just review them and maybe see how they can be improved.

Hey Marck, welcome to the group!

I think the next event should be early July, Xav has more info :)

There is also an open game jam in the works, more details coming on that next month.

Okay, cool. How is it normally organized? Do you take turns finding venues and organizing? Are there topics of discussion to think about before hand? 

In regards to an open game jam, that sounds AWESOME! Would you like some help organizing?

The July meetup of our infamous Beijing Game Design group is coming next week!

We're open to any suggestion of new game to play (and review and discuss improvements), else we can still fall back to Nidhogg and Samurai Gunn.

Monaco is a 4 player stealth oriented strategy game that's quite fun.

Risk of Rain and Transistor also sound fun to review and improve. However, I don't know what usually goes down at these meet ups. Is there a theme?

Unfortunately, I have to bail on tomorrow. I'll be speaking at Barcamp on Sunday and someone organized a last minute Speakers' dinner for tomorrow.

Hmmmmm,

Okay hmmmm... I made a mistake in that email...
It was not planned for tomorrow. but for next tuesday (read the Eventbrite page dammit haha).

And the 8-Bit just told me they'll be closed next week, so I'll have to find another venue x__x...
