As part of our Corporate Responsibility Program  Pickatale are launching an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign on Wednesday 1st of July at 4 pm to raise money for art education in Mongolia. The initiative is called the 150Alice project, which commemorates the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland book.

We've have been working for two years with 150 artists from around the world to bring an anniversary edition of the book to the world, which would be great for on your coffee table or as a gift for Christmas this year as it is truly unique and a limited edition.

We would greatly appreciate if you could join and help make our goal a reality by backing the project. We aim to raise $50,000, but we would like to help in surpassing that goal and raise as much as we can for this cause. While the campaign is only activated next Wednesday at 4 pm, we wanted to let you know beforehand and share this  introduction video with you (Mark, the COO, is in the video!). You will receive an email from Mark when the launch is activated with a link to the campaign where you can order the book. If you forward this email to your family members or friends, please copy Mark so that he can send them the link through an “undisclosed email “ directly on Wednesday.

MORE ON THE PROJECT

The Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Project is a 300-paged, vividly illustrated version of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. This exquisite version of the book is illustrated by 150 talented artists from 42 different countries, and is published to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the original book.

All profits from the project will go towards educating children in Mongolia about art and creativity. Help us take a closer step towards building an art school in Mongolia by backing the project. Every single dollar goes a long way, so head down to the campaign page on Wednesday to find out more about the book, our charity initiative, and back our cause!

If you’d like to get your hands on one of the books and help us achieve our goals, please do so on Wednesday with the link that will be sent to you by Mark. It is very important for the success of the project that as many people as possible contribute during the first 24 hours as this will help them in gaining the support for crowd funding so as to achieve their goal.
