Dear Friends and Colleagues, 

I'm hosting a talk and discussion about my book anthology, Fashioning Models, on Thursday, September 26th, at F.I.T. at 6pm. Come by if you are in the area!  It looks like it will be an exciting evening. The authors and I will discuss models as icons of gender, class, and ethnicity in modern consumer culture.  Rumor has it, Sara Ziff, founder of the Model Alliance, former model, and labor activist, might drop by as a special guest!
