The National Fraud Information Center (NFIC) takes reports from consumers
about fraud and fraudulent businesses. These complaint reports are
referred to the appropriate regulatory and law enforcement agencies around
the country, and now around the globe. The NFIC also provides free
information on how consumers can protect themselves from fraud and we offer
free advice on suspicious offers and consumer fraud.

The NFIC has recently begun the NFIC Internet Program to deal with fraud on
the Internet. As a part of NFIC Internet, we have established a National
Fraud Information Center WebSite at Our WebSite has

and these links are growing daily.
