BNTi Announces Strategic Alliance with Digital Equipment
Las Vegas - March 27, 1995 - Border Network Technologies, Inc, a leading
developer and manufacturer of firewall software for the Internet, today
announced a strategic partnership with Digital Equipment Corporation, a
leading developer vendor of Internet security solutions, to jointly bring
leading edge Internet security products to market.

gateway and firewall security system in one. It combines Internet application-
level servers - including World Wide Web, Mail, News and Name Services - along
with proxies for applications such as Mosaic, Telnet, and File Transfer - with
a transparent IP firewall.

New Product Name for Janus
Hannover, Germany, - March 8, 1995 - In a move to enhance its marketing
strategy, Border Network Technologies, Inc., a leading developer and
manufacturer of firewall software for the Internet, is now launching the
BORDERware Firewall Server, formally the JANUS Firewall Server, in the
European market.
"We felt BORDERware was better suited to help the company build a strong brand
identity in the marketplace," said recently appointed BNTi president Steven
Lamb.
The BORDERware Firewall Server is a complete Internet gateway and security
system in one. It combines Internet application-level servers - including
World Wide Web, E-Mail, News and Name Services - along with proxies for
applications such as Mosaic, Telnet, and FTP - with a transparent IP firewall.
In addition to the name change, BNTi also introduced a new pricing structure
that will make the firewall more accessible to smaller companies. According
Lamb, the new multi-tiered pricing structure is based on the number of protected
workstations. BORDERware is available through BNTi and Sea Change Corporation's
established distribution channels.
"Our new pricing strategy positions BORDERware as a key product in the emerging
Internet market," explained Lamb.
