Those wanting the SCO newsgroups via news should ensure that they
are carrying them in their active file and that they are a newsfeed
for them. Should that be a problem for anyone, please contact the
undersigned and I'll try to help.
For those formerly receiving biz.sco.* via respective mailing lists,
I've created the appropriate new ones:
Newsgroup Mailing List
--------- ------------
comp.unix.sco.announce sco...@xenitec.on.ca (moderated)
comp.unix.sco.misc sco...@xenitec.on.ca
comp.unix.sco.programmer sco...@xenitec.on.ca
Existing subscribers to biz.sco.{general|opendesktop|magazine} are
automatically included in the new "scomsg" mailing list. I've
filtered out the obvious resulting duplicate subscription addresses,
If I've missed any, please do advise by writing to the admin alias:
listm...@xenitec.on.ca
I'll post a revised FAQ when I'm done all this, so you can use the
new subscription addresses to unsubscribe as well.
Existing subscribers to biz.sco.announce are automatically included
in the new "scoann" mailing list.
Existing subscribers to biz.sco.vtcl automatically included in the
new "scoprg" mailing list.
Please excuse the tests I'll be running in the next little while to
ensure that all this works properly.
