Since 1984, the staff of American Canine Association, Inc., has been tracking
and monitoring the certified health, breeding and performance of canines.
In the early part of 1991, work was begun on the design and implementation
of an advanced automated system for monitoring the health certifications as
well as the conformation and working titles of dogs. We have always
maintained the philosophy that the certified health of a dog is as important
as its conformation and working abilities.
In the beginning of 1993, the American Canine Association, Inc., relocated
their national headquarters to Wilmington, Delaware. Since then, the
American Canine Association, Inc., has experienced an unprecedented growth
in the canine industry. Due to popular demand, the registration of canines
by American Canine Association, Inc., has reached international proportions.
Where are we going in the future? Plans are currently underway for the
creation of a breeder information service for consumers, as well as a
veterinary referral service for both breeders and consumers. In the near
future, breeders and consumers will have "on line" computer access to a
variety of information about canine pedigrees, health, conformation and
working titles. Access will also be available for a "locator" service, for
both breeders and consumers looking for selective breeding criteria. Continued
national marketing, involvement in legislative efforts concerning canines,
coupled with the added coordination of veterinarians, breeders and canine
clubs, has made the American Canine Association, Inc., a preferred alternative
or supplement to your current registration process.

about how you or your group can hold a show sanctioned by the ACA and to
