Spanish or Portuguese BILINGUAL - Job Functions: Operations -
Other - The Operations Manager manages organizational and program
expansion: Expands services from 1 to 4 counties in California
and from 8 to 16 healthcare sites; increases staff from 25 to 60.
Organizes, coordinates, and manages the Operations Team: one
Assistant Operations Manager/Trainer; one Research Analyst; one
Program Developer; and (60) Health Educators and Supervisors.
Responsible for the overall strategic coordination and
development of the Screening Brief Intervention and Treatment
(SBIRT) program. Develops, evaluates, and monitors Health
Educator Supervisors to ensure that they are effectively managing
their site staff, so that the highest quality SBIRT services and
healthcare staff relations are maintained. Utilizes management
information tools to identify and address trends and issues with
regard to individual and site performance. Ensures all company
policies, procedures, and operational protocols, as described in
the company's manual (e.g., Operations Manual, Employee Handbook,
etc.), are followed by all operations staff. Selects and develops
high performing site teams; also responsible for the training of
new an existing operations staff and identifying and developing
talent for management roles. Identifies and resolves performance,
operational, and healthcare staff issues (both positive and
negative) in a timely and effective manner. Develops and
maintains positive relations with healthcare staff at all sites.
Minimum five years experience of operational management in a
multi-unit environment, preferably in health and human services;
Experience supervising direct and multiple layers of indirect
reports. Bachelor's degree in business administration or health,
social work or a related field (graduate degree desirable) or
equivalent work experience. Previous healthcare experience
preferred. Proven record of motivating people to improve
performance; Excellent communication skills; Effective
relationship builder; Technologically savvy; Multi-tasker;
Contract, grants and budget management experience preferred.
