Benefits/Compensation, HR - Generalist, HR - Recruiter - Performs
professional level HR activities in functions such as employment,
compensation, benefits, training and employee relations and
employee communications. Generally specializes in two or more
assigned areas. As assigned, may assist recruiting by sourcing
and identifying appropriate candidates both internal and external
utilizing the most appropriate sourcing and recruiting
techniques. Under general direction of the HR Manager, coaches
and counsels managers and employees on employee related issues,
HR practices and policies. Works with HR managers as appropriate,
to develop strategies for employee communications that are linked
to corporate mission and objectives. Using the most efficient and
effective sourcing techniques, ensures staffing needs are
properly met by the effective recruiting and hiring of candidates
for assigned positions in a timely manner- delivers slate of
candidates that are indicative of the company's focus on
diversity. Screen, interview, evaluate and extend offers to
qualified applicants. Ensures that developmental opportunities
are presented to employees by managing internal job posting
activities. Prepare job descriptions Support employee relation
efforts by providing coaching and counseling to employees and
managers on a variety of ER issues as well as HR practices and
procedures. Support company's complaint resolution program.
Assist managers in interpreting and applying company HR policies.
Counsel employees concerning work related problems. Conduct exit
interviews. Act as Employee HR Communications Rep by developing
and delivering internal communication materials across electronic
channels, including employee news portions of the Company
intranet and employee e-mail communications. Assist with the new
employee Assimilation Program. Keep presentation up to date and
also may conduct different portions of the program. Maintains
compliance with federal and state regulations. Represents HR and
participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other
meetings as appropriate. Provides input to and administers all
human resource policies, procedures, and programs in a consistent
and effective manner. May support financial targets by
participating in the budgeting process and managing assigned
portion.
