In my opinion, this is the most important part of the intent of the
changes from PPS and consolidated billing. HCFA wants the
departments of nursing home to =talk= about what they're doing and
have working knowledge about what every department is doing for
the benefit of each resident. It is a tall order, but it is the underlying
message behind most of the regulations we have today. Congress &
HCFA want this communication and the facilities/companies that live
by this will succeed.
