PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The VT520 monochrome and the VT525 color terminals are high quality, high
reliability, multisession text terminals. They have plug and play emulations
and have been tested with more than 30 operating systems. They were built to
meet international requirements and standards and to support 25 languages.
The VT520 and the VT525 can operate in any environment throughout a
worldwide organization. They also include complete keyboard programmability
and accessability aids.

o "Sticky keys" input method for physically challenged users.
o Zero font preference -- user selectable for easier recognition of
characters.
o High resolution and 73 Hz refresh rate, 802 x 432 resolution --
flicker-free, clear display.
o Overscan -- takes away the black border in reverse video.
o VT525 -- full color text capacity, 16 colors; user selectable, easier
character recognition.
o VT525 -- choice of 14-inch, 15-inch, or 17-inch color SVGA monitor.
o VT525 ANSI color text capatibility -- no modifications necessary to most
applications.
o VT525 -- ASCII color emulation.
o VT525 -- color support for monochrome applications.
o Advanced functionality -- every key on the keyboard is programmable up to
eight levels. The VT500 family also features down-loadable macros; status
and indicator lines; off-screen memory; horizontal and vertical
scrolling; rectangular area operations; programmable banner; local
copy/paste; built-in clock and calculator; and snap-in cartridge for easy
firmware upgrades -- tools to improve productivity, off-load the host,
and increase ease of use.

AVAILABILITY AND ORDERING
The VT520 monochrome and VT525 color multisession text terminals are
available now. The VT520 is available in two basic models: International and
International Low Emissions. Low Emissions is built into the standard VT525
model. Northern and southern hemisphere versions are available.
The VT520 International and International Low Emissions models are available
with white, green, or amber phosphor. Every model of the VT500 family has
complete programming functionality and supports all 70 keyboards and 25
language character sets.
When ordering a VT520, users need to select a monitor model and keyboard as
separate line items. When ordering a VT525, users need to order a monitor,
system box, and keyboard as separate line items. Power cords are included;
communication cables must be ordered separately. Multilingual (English,
German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Dutch) installation and operating
manuals are included with each terminal. A Programmer's Reference Manual is
available separately for applications programmers (EK-VT520-RM).
Substantial discounts are available when purchased in bulk (45 units) or by
full trailer loads (900 units).
