DIGITAL INTRODUCES EZ-SET UP CARTRIDGE
Industry's Fastest Device
For Customizing Text Terminal Settings
MAYNARD, Mass. -- February 14, 1995 -- Digital Equipment
Corporation's Video Line of Business today announced EZ-Set Up
Cartridge, the industry's quickest and most efficient tool to
custom-tailor terminal set up on Digital's VT500 and Dorio
Terminals. With EZ-Set Up Cartridge, distributors, VARs, resellers
and MIS managers can customize terminal set-up features for groups
of terminals in a few simple steps.
The EZ-Set Up Cartridge eliminates the need to set up terminals
individually via a time-consuming multi-keystroke process, or create
and download a setting program from the host. It enables users to
copy settings from a pre-configured terminal to a cartridge and then
use the cartridge to set up subsequent terminals easily.

communication and logistics, the EZ-Set Up Cartridge is a critical

Kelsey-Seybold. Headquartered in Houston, Kelsey-Seybold is a
primary and specialty medical clinic with locations throughout
southeast Texas, and a test site for the EZ-Set Up Cartridge. "The
EZ-Set Up Cartridge enabled us to customize and install terminals in
our network within a much smaller window."
EZ-Set Up Cartridge will be available through Digital's
distributors in early March. Manufacturers suggested list price is
$149.00
