New Puter.......Abit ka7, athlon 800, adaptec 2940 u2w, 2x 18gb ibm lvd
drives, plextor writer and reader, matrox g400 max, ls120.
System sometimes will not power up, power led flashes, then nothing, if i
switch power supply off for a few minutes then back on, the system powers
up.....The power supply is 300 watts, i have changed it for a new one and
still have the same problem,, yet if i put a 250 watt power supply in there
is no problem, the system powers up fine.............Is 250 watts enough for
an athlon with 4 SCSI devices??,,,,,,and does the KA7 have some sort of
surge protection??.
I'm baffled

As far as i know you won't have any problem wit your SCSI devices
man.Athlon's are good for Overclocking but a good heatsink and a fan are the
CPU's closest friends do not forget that...
