IBM Watson

It was few years back that I got interested in IBM Watson program. It was a IBM machine that won a game show called Jeopardy. Machine Learning, NLP, hypothesis generation. Now the stakes are higher. Watson is going to be part of the health care business now. It would be a misnomer to call it a business. Imagine Watson consoles being available in remote villages of India or African countries. All the person has to do is describe his symptoms and he gets immediate consultation on the medicine he has to take. There will be internationalization issues. But opportunities are unlimited if considered for humanitarian program.
 Watson has consumed the wikipedia and many sources on the internet. I believe Watson would be a part of each and every ones life as Wikipedia is today. A great project.
