Dear Dr. Norris,
My name is Stephanie Hwang, I am an RN and Adult Gero Acute Care NP student at UPenn. I am also a co-founder of AirCare, a team of engineers, nurses, medical students, and business folks that created a new follow-up technology that we have piloting at HUP and Pennsy for the heart failure patients to improve quality of care and reduce readmissions. We have completed a pilot on 6 Cathcart and Founders 10/11 in the Penn system, and have presented the results to the Executive Transitions Committee of Penn Medicine (including Dr. PJ Brennan and Roy Rosin). I spoke to Margaret Shanks and Julie Yoon at Pennsy in addition to Tonya Johnson and Joanne Ruggiero about continuing AirCare technology at Pennsylvania Hospital, and wanted to reach out to see if you were interested in taking a look at the technology and results from the pilot. I am happy to stop by Pennsy anytime - I would love to show you the AirCare technology, and get your thoughts on how we may continue utilizing it on 6 Cathcart and perhaps the NP service. I have attached some information for your perusal.
Sincerely,
Stephanie
