Converts the email database from cross-platform MBOX format to PST for Microsoft Outlook. Preserves all the data and metadata during the quick and easy conversion process. Automatically organizes the resulting data files into folders in a desired manner.
MBOX is an email file format used to store multiple messages. These can be all the emails from a mailbox or a folder. This format is used by many email clients, such as Thunderbird, Opera Mail, and Apple Mail. MBOX files are typically used to back up and archive emails.
PST is an internal Microsoft Outlook data file format to store multiple emails, contacts, calendar items, tasks, and notes in one file. PST files are used for backup, archiving, and transfer purposes.
It is not possible to convert MBOX to PST without third-party tools. You can try a workaround, such as connecting an email address from an MBOX client to your Outlook profile and then exporting messages to a PST file with the inbuilt Outlook tools.
Converting data files online can be risky. Online converters are not secure, as the user's data may be compromised. The quality of the conversion may be inconsistent, and you may lose some of the original information, such as email properties, headers, and attachments. These tools usually don't offer advanced options, such as preserving the source folder structure.
Also, online converters may not be able to handle large source files, and the conversion process may fail. You must have a stable Internet connection. Converting multiple files may take too long and cost too much.
This software guarantees fast, easy, and secure email conversion on your local machine. It is a great tool for those who have switched from an MBOX email client to Microsoft Outlook or need to transfer their messages between computers or email accounts.
Automatic MBOX to PST conversion has many advantages. It provides a user-friendly interface and supports multiple file conversion; preserves email metadata and folder hierarchy; can convert very large source files or smaller than the specified size.
The utility makes it easy to select, organize and search converted messages. It can filter emails by attachments and mark them as unread. It arranges the messages into multiple resulting files or folders, automatically created by message fields or for each source MBOX.
The command line app in the Professional Edition of the converter extends the tool's capabilities and provides greater flexibility for mass mail transfer and migration. This option allows you to schedule conversions or perform them using batch files and scripts for any number of users in any organization. The Professional Edition also offers free support to help you create custom scripts and scenarios to suit your specific needs.

I've been a Format Factory user for over a year now but the latest version has some major bugs and I'm trying to find a replacement now I know about AnyVideoConverter and I see the latest version has fixed/improved a lot of the issues it had about a two years ago, so then came across Freemake and it looks really promising and I would like to try Freemake video converter but I read some reviews on Cnet that claims it installs adware against your consent, so I looked into this a little further and sure enough some of the reviews on Web Of Trust mentioned this as well then I decided to upload the Freemake installer to Virustotal and here's what it had to say:
Also I would like try the Miro player but I've heard that it has some security issues namely when viewing/streaming web videos, because apparently there's no script blocking options available plus it suppose be a little bit of a resource hog.
Freeware is now often bundled with crapware. One just has to be extra cautious in installing "freeware" that non-intended crap doesn't get installed. Detections such as "InstallCore" and "OpenCandy" are clues to this being the case and they are are the wrapper software for the non-intended crapware.
Yeah I hear that peole make the same claim about FormatFactory I mean as long as your in rushing during the installation then you have little to worry about. But at least there's some free tools for removing adware like AWD Cleaner SAS or even 'MBAM'
Yeah I agree VLC FTW But I guess if someone wants to filter/block adscripts and trackers they could use Spotflux Premium I've been using the free Android version for a while now and it works very well just no adblocking or other filters, and then there's 'Disocnnect' for Kids and while it's not available for desktop yet much like Spoflux it offers a high speed VPN with some script blocking features which could help prevent malware from infesting your system. Here's a link to Disconnect Oh and if you want almost a %100 guarantee then use a good sandbox program when viewing web content in media players like Sandboxie nothings getting through that. Right on CWB OpenSouce is fantastic, and its primarily community powered much like this forum not to mention "typically" full of friendly people as well.
StarWind V2V Converter / P2V Migrator is a free software for cloning and transforming VMs from one format to another, as well as converting physical machines into virtual ones. It is utilized when migration or Hypervisor Switch is required. Compared to the typical converters built into hypervisors, StarWind V2V Converter / P2V Migrator offers bi-directional conversion between all the major VM formats: VMDK, VHD/VHDX (Windows Repair Mode aware), QCOW2, and StarWind native IMG.
StarWind V2V Converter has numerous competitive gains over converters built into your standard hypervisors. First, it supports bi-directional VM conversion between various hypervisor vendor formats. To save time during migration and Hypervisor Switch, V2V Converter allows to convert VMs directly from one hypervisor server to another without creating an extra VM disk copy. On top of that, you can easily migrate your vital host VM images between different hypervisor servers without any data loss or corruption. Want to convert local files? V2V can do that, too.
StarWind V2V Converter enables the conversion of a physical machine into a virtual one that resides on a Hyper-V, ESXi, Xen Project, or another industry-standard hypervisor server. It allows converting physical disks or volumes into a variety of formats: VHD/VHDX, VMDK, QCOW, and IMG/RAW. Simply start StarWind V2V Converter on a physical machine and convert it into a virtual one located on a remote server. Data consistency is preserved throughout the migration.
You also have the ability to convert your physical volumes, disks, or entire physical machines into instances in the public cloud without any intermediary steps. Boot up StarWind V2V Converter on your physical machine, choose the desired physical source, opt for Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure (the cloud of your choice) and press convert. The process is quick and safe, eliminating any chances of data corruption or loss thanks to VSS snapshots.
Whatever the hypervisor, StarWind V2V will easily convert your virtual resources to cloud instances in a public cloud in a snap. All popular virtualization formats are supported for this feature as well. Select any virtual disk or VM on your remote hypervisor server, choose AWS or Azure (depending on what you use), and see the magic unfold.
Finally, our solution can convert and migrate smoothly between AWS and Azure! Abiding by the same bi-directional principle, you can easily switch to or bounce between these public cloud services, shifting your VMs and disks how you want them. Again, no copies or extra space is required: the process occurs directly from cloud to cloud, securing solid data safety and integrity.
StarWind V2V Converter / P2V Migrator alleviates the risk of data corruption during conversion by working with a copy of the target VM, keeping the original file intact. The utility uses VSS snapshots while carrying out P2V migration. In this way, the machine state is consistent, and any chance of data corruption or loss is avoided. StarWind can also replicate the virtual drives across multiple nodes in the cluster to ensure constant uptime of your data using StarWind VSAN.
