Club Outreach Plan 2017-18

Hope that you all are doing great!

Firstly the new club leadership would like to thank everyone for their warm wishes and regards and to the opportunity that the leadership from last year has offered. I hope that we will be able to do justice to the responsibilities entrusted to us. With this, I'm happy to write this email that the club has started with new initiatives for this semester. This email briefs about the same.

We started off with the curation of a structured outreach plan wherein we can collaborate with all the people involved making the best possible use of the resources available at our disposal. The document (.pdf) can be found in the attachment. One important body on campus with an industry-connect was the Placement Unit. Hence, we met Mr. Tabir Mishra, Placement Manager to discuss regarding the same. He was impressed by the ideas and satisfied by the execution we have proposed as a part of the Outreach Plan. He has promised full support for the same.

On this note, we would like to request all of the club Alumni to help promote this interesting culture on campus by contributing to any part of the outreach plan proposed or in the normal club sessions- whatever best suits your busy schedules. Just ping us about that and we'll arrange for the rest. Any small /big contribution is worth more to us than anything else.

Of the initiatives, one important initiative we had in mind, which we discussed with Sahil when he was on campus, was the creation of a database of with Whatsapp contacts of alumni of the campus consulting fraternity. The initiative aims at connecting the alumni to the select few mentorship-needy students through the post-holders of the club with the prior permission of the concerned alumni.
